CAPE TOWN AND AUCKLAND. (By TolcßTaph.-Prcse Association.) ! Auckland, October 6. For some time past the Hon. Ooorgo Fowlds has been nceotiatiiig with tho Capo Town library authorities ro tho exchange of Maori JISS. with that library for South African MSS. in tho Auckland free' library. At tho meeting of the City Council last night tho Library Committeo reported that thero was not sufficient information concerning tho MSS. in the Cape Town library on which to base a proposal for exchange.
