AUSTRALIAN QUARANTINE REGULATIONS. The following- is laken from tlio "Sydney JloruLug Herald" of last week:—"Mr. 8. T. D. Syiiipns, Chief-,Quarantine Officer (animals), Stock Ollice, has received <i(lvice from tho Direcior of CJuarantino that on. nnd from the Ist proximo revised regulations como into operation. Below is a list' of inspection foes as prescribed in connection with tho introduction of animals from New Zealand. In connection with tho introduction of these animals, it is necessary to givo three days' notice of intention to import. Inspection ices are chargeable as follow: Horses, asses, mules, cattle—For consignments of 1 to 10 animals of the same kind. ,£1 Is. For each additional animal abovo 10 in ono consignment of tho same kind, 2s Swine—Each animal, 10s. Sheep, goate, dogs, cats—For a single animal or first in any consignment, ss. For each additional animal in any consignment' of animals of the same kind, 2s. \Vild arid undomesticated animals—For circus or menagerie purposes, arriving via New Zealand, each animal, 10s. Gd. ' Animals imported for immediate slaughter—For consignment of Ito 20, £2 2s. For each animal above 20 in one consignment, Is.
