Y.M.C.A. WEDNESDAY CLUB. The annual meeting of the Y.M.C.A. Wednesday Club was held in the rooms on Monday evening, Mr. W. Atneave presiding. Tho election of officers resulted as follow:—President, Mr. Mather (reelected); vice-presidents, Messrs. D. Rogors (re-elected), K. Evans (re-elected), E. Taylor, E. Ryan, A. J. Saunders, \V. Campbell, and — Kersley; secretary and treasurer, Mr. G.'M'Kay; management Committee. Messrs. Slack, Kitto, Soughtcn, and the secretary. Delegate to the Wednesday Cricket Association, Mr. G. M'Kay; selection committee, the secretary, captain, and vico-ca,t>tain. It was decided to again enter one junior team for the competition. ST. MARK'S CLUB'S ANNUAL. At tho annual m-eoting of St. Mark's Cricket Club, held on Monday night, Mr. J. Besant presided over an attendance of 25 members. The report and balance-sheet,' which showed the club to be in a satisfactory condition, wero adopted, the chairman congratulating the club on being able to show a credit balance. Thirteen new members wore proposed, and it was de'cidtd |to enter teams for the junior and third-grade competitions under tho Wellington District Association. Officers for the-season were, elected as follow:—Patron, his;ExceU«Hcy-ith®i,GoVr ernor; president, Rev. C. I l '. Askew j vicepresidents, the Revs. A. M. Johnson, C. E. O'H. Tobin, ,and W. Ogden, and Messrs. Besant,- Bnrltrop, Blow, -Brown, Cording, Deslandes, Clarke, Langdon,' Madeley, Pilcher, Tripe, Sonthgate, and Worth; hon. secretary, Mr. C. Burdekin; hon. treasurer, Mr. W. Etching; club captain, Mr. J. Ferguson; Management Committee, Messrs. Ferguson, F. I|jirris, Morgan, Sanders, G. Smith, Tandy, and Yallance; hon. auditor, Mr. R. E. Rawnsley. Subscriptions for the coming season were fixed at 80s. for members over 21, 225. 6d. for those under 21, and 10s. for practice members. BOYS' INSTITUTE) CLUB. The annual meeting of the Boys' Institute Cricket Club was held last evening, Mr. Coloneus, general secretary, being in the chair. Tho secretary's report stated that last season had been tho most successful which the clnb bad yet' experienced, tho senior team going through tho season without defeat, While tho juniors were runnersup in their grade. The treasurer's statement showed a deficit of over £3, which it is hoped will bo wiped off before tho now season begins. A senior and a junior team will be entered in the Boys' League this year. Tho following officers wero elected — President, Mr. G. A. Troup (re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs. A. Miller, R. Pearson, J. Hntchings, D. Howitt (all reelected), and Messrs. F. M. B. Fisher, M.P.j and C. E. Dick; hon. secretary, J. Howitt; hon. treasurer, C. P. Coloneus (re-elected); club captain, H. Hudson; delegate to the league, the hon. secretary. E. Shaw and others were elected hon. contributing members.
Tuesdays and Fridays were decided' on as practice nights.
