Chaytor, Officer Commanding the Wellington district, state that the following appointments, promotions, transfers, resignations, and retirements are Approved: Second (Wellington West Coast) Mounted Rifles.—Caption J. B. lii 11c is transferred to the reserve of officers; Lieutenant S. D. Johnston resigns his /commission; Mr. W. Risk to be second lieutenant, supernumerary to the establishment. Sixth (Mana-watu) Mounted Rillcs.—Captain W. Fitzgerald Levin to bo major; Captain i;. de Bathe Brandon (unattached list) to be captain, vice Levin, promoted. . Ninth (Wellington East Const) Mounted Rifles.—Lieutenant J. Whittaker retires. Now Zealand Field Artillery.—Lieutenant .L G. Rose to bo captain, to complete establishment.
