A tragedy is reported from Orange, where a young man ..named John Roacho attempted to murder his sweetheart, Gladys M'Kenna, and afterwards commits ted suicido in a paddock near the town. The girl was shot in the forehead, and Roacho had two bullet wounds in the head. Tho revolver contained only one discharged cartridge, and it is supposed that Boache shot tho girl, and inflicted a slight wound on himself, and then wont home, re-loaded tho revolver, and returned to tho girl's side, whero ho fatally shot himself. The girl may recover.
