PIiOFESSIOXAL QUESTIONS IN VIEW. The Wellington branch of tho Xctf Zealand Educational .Institute will meet on Friday to discuss' various matters of importance to teachers. The question?' set down for discussion include a notice of motion .by Jlr. J. 13. Tlopkirk (Brooklyn .School):—"That this institute late active steps to have legislation enacted that no teacher shall bo responsible for a medical fee, when in case of sudden illness or accident ho summons a medical doctor to the assistance of a pupil." Nomination of officers ami non-official members cf the Exrcutive Committee of the New Z?abnd Institute will also bo taken, and remits for conference in January next considered. The following remits have been received, and others will bo accepted up to tho time of tho- mooting:—l.
