WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL, NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER, NOTICE is hereby given that nt a Special Meeting of the Wellington Citv Council, held on- the 711\ day of September, 1911, tlic following Resolution was passed:— The Wellington City Council hereby makes by Special Order the lollowing iiylaw under and by virtue of and m exercise, and in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in it by ' I lie Municipal Corporations Act, lflOS, and "Iho Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1008, and their amendments, and of nil other powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf. The Short Title of this By-law shall bo "The Wellington City By-law No. 11 (Abattoir), 1911." The objects and purport of this Bylaw are:— 1. To regulate the working and management of the Wellington City Abattoir. 2. To conserve public health, safely, and convenience, and prevent nuisances. 3. To prescribe tho charges payable for the use of the abattoir, the housing and feeding of stock before slaughter, and the slaughtering and dressing of stock. i. To regulate the sale of meat in the City, and to provide for the licensing* of meat vendors in the City, and the regulation, control, and inspection of the meat , supply of tho City. 5.
