ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
THE BULLER GOKGE FATALITY. (By Telecraph.—Press Association.) Westport, September 25. Search of the river beaches and dragging over a distance of nine miles between the scene of the recent gelignite explosion and Westport failed to reveal any signs of the remains of Corby and Lone How premature explosion actunlly occurred is a mystery. There are several theories, but experienced men say there can be no certainty. One of ths workmen, Henderson, who was seven or eight feet above the blast on a sideling, was uninjured/ CITY ACCIDENTS. Albert Leggatt, residing at G7 Pirie Street dislocated his ankle yesterday morning, and was taken to the Hospital. Alexander Olsen, residing at Humbor Street, Island Bay, fell from hi? bi.-ydo yesterday and was taken to tho Hospital suffering from concussion ol the ijiam. While engaged in carting timber from the railway yard yesterday afternoon, a carter named M. Kelniker, a single man, residing at 93 Tasmau Street, fell from his cart and sustained injury to his back. He was taken to the Hospital for treatment.
