NIREAHA HALL.
Sir,—A notice signed A. E. BfeU, calling a meeting of the Sports Committee and those interested, to be held in the liall; was issued at Nireaha on Septemlwr IG. Now, Sir, I understand whea the Commissioner of> Crown Lands was in Nireaha he paid he would try and get the settlers the seven acres' on which the hall now stands. I take it by tho abovo that the Stirling and all Nireaha are included. I don't think the Commissioner knows who the Sports Committee are. Some peoplo who have no money invested in the hall want .to have the same authority in it as thoso that have. I think. Sir, that a public meeting should bo'called, and 6ve or six gentlemen appointed to interview the hair trustees, and that a satisfactory arrangement could be arrived at without calling a meeting of tho Sports Committcs, and causing ill-feeling among tho settlers.—l am, etc., A NIREAHA SETTLER, Nireaha, September 30. [Other letters are in type, and will appear, early nest week.] •
