Lino states that the Morayshire, which was to have left Liverpool for Wellington, via way ports, on September 16, has been delayed at tho Home port for three weeks, on account of the recent strikes. Sho will nit sail until October 6, and is due at Wellington on December 8. KENT LEAVES nOBART. AOTEA .CHANGES HANDS. Advices to hand contain particulars of tho sale of the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's steamer Aotea. It will be remembered that this vessel went ashore at Moville Point, South Africa, on January 21 of this year, whilst en route from London to Wellington, via way ports. She was refloated on March 3, a.nd after docking at Cape Town has been lying thereover since. Her now owner is Mr. Ochbere, of Cape Town, and it is his intention to have her temporarily repaired to enable her to proceed t-o Europo with a cargo of Ecrap-iron. On arrival at Wellington from Melbourne via way ports, this morning, tho Moana will berth at tho Queen's Wharf, No 1 north. Sho leaves for Sydney at 5 p.m. The steamers Wauchopo and Yambacoona. have been purchased by Messrs. nuddart Parker, and Company. The former vessel I will maintain the present running in the' King Island trade, and will bo assisted hy the Yambacoona during tho busy cattlo season. Mr. T. Cameron, third officer of tho Apariraa, is ashore at Dunediu to sit for his muto's examination. Mapourikn. s.s.. arrived at Greymbuth from Wellington, via way pons, at 635 a.m. yesterday morning, and left again on the return trip at 8 p.m. To-day tho To Anau leaves Wellington for Westport and Duuedin. The Pohorua. leaves for Grevimuth on Saturday, and tho Komata, for Westport on Monday. The Putiki will come off tho slip thin morning, and the Mana and Cobar will occupy the cradle.
