(Specially written for The Dominion.) TUESDAY. Rice Soup. Boiled Corned Beef. Suet Dumplings. Carrots. Turnips. Potatoes. Cornflour Blanc Mange. Stevved Fruit. RICE SOUP. Three pints of good stock, 2oz. rice, salt, and pepper. Wash the rice well, put it into a saucepan, cover with water, and bring quickly to the boil; strain, add to stock, and cook slowly one hour. Add seasoning to taste. FOR TO-MORROW. Vermicelli stock, neck of mutton, carrots, turnips, sultanas, suet.
