His courage failed him the first time he saw a chance, but a second opportunity occurred and ho drew his revolver from his pocket under cover of a programme and fired, hoping to escapo during the excitement. In the scuffle following tho shooting some of Bogroff's teeth were knocked out, and ho also received a sabro cut on tho head. lie expressed his regret at wounding a musician with his second shot.
