FOUND DEAD IN EIS GARDEN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Christcliurch, September 10. George Ruddock, about seventy years of age, ivas found dead in liis garden at Sefton last night. He had apparently been dead aliout a week. Tliiere wero no marks of violence.

SUDDEN FAILURE OF THE HEART.

Christchurch, September 16. An inquest was held this afternoon into tho circumstances connected with the death of William Robert Bright, G! years of age, who died suddenly last night. Dr. Fonwick stated that he had made a j post mortem examination, and that death was due to sudden failure of a very diseased heart. Thore were evidences of syrosis. Tho coroner returned a. verdict thot the deceased had died from heart disease.

FATAL TRAP ACCIDENT.

Levin, SeptcinLsr IG. Sarah Gyles, wife of J. Gyles, cf Ohau, met her death vesterday on the road south of Levin. A motor cyclist, Thomas Murpliv, had passed the trap, ami i» fi t afterwards found the horse had sliied and precipitated both occupants to tho Tead. Tho husband was merely shaken, but on medical aid being summoned, tho wife was found dead. It is surmised that the cause of death was shock to the system.
