The Representation Commission finished its labours in the South Island yesborday, and its rcpDrt to his Excellcncy the Governor was dispatched by lost night's mail. It is anticipated that the final findings of the Commission will bo published this week, i t Several petitions against the alterations in boundaries were considered, but no evidence was taken. It is understood that no important alterations are recommended of the Commission's original proposals regarding new boundaries in South Island electorates.
