AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
THE -VICTORIA COLLEGE CLUB. The annual meeting of tho Victoria Collego Amateur Athletic Club was held on Monday evening. The report showed an improvement in position. The iinanco was considered satisfactory and it was stated that the membership constituted a record while the inter-faculty sports had proved a success, tho banner being won by tho law team. The following officers were elected:— President, Professor Hunter j vice-presi-dents, the members of tho Professorial Board and Messrs. E. D. Bell, C. E. Bridge, J. P. Firth, T. W. Leslie, and L. Paul; club'captain, Mr. G. S. StTack; hon. secretary, Mr. A. R. Sievwright; hon. treasurer, Mr. C. Strack; committee, Messrs. A/T. Duncan'and G. C. Jackson; hon. auditor, Mr. T. Rigg; delegate to Wellington Centro N.Z.A.A.A., Mr. A.' T. Duncan. ■ ; _ IV .
