Quotations:—Store cow?. £4 to £4 ss. 6d.: 2i-.vcar steers, £4 10s.: Jersey cross yearlin? heifers, -£3 -Is.; dairy onws, £5, £5 12s. 6d„ £6 93. 6d., £7, £7 lCs. lo £8; dairy hoifers, £4 to £6 12s. 6d.; Jersey bulls, aged, £5 155.: 2-year, £7; 3-year, £0; yearlings. £3 ss. to £3 its.: old bulls, £3 10s. to £4 105. ME. LANCASTER'S SALI3. The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. Ltd., Palmorston North, report a most successful sale of dairy stock, on account of S. B. Lancaster, at their Ilirail-ingi Yards yesterday. There was a good attendance of buyers from all over t'no district, and, in spite of the weather, bidding was brisk, and a particularly good sale resulted, the whole of 95 cows in milk and in calf averaged £8 2s. 4d., and ICO heifers in milk and'in calf averaged £6 4s. Good springing cows -made from £9 to £16; later sorts, £5 to £8 10s.: heifers close to profit made £6 to £8 55.: backward heifers, £4 16s. to £5 10s.
