Vile that stops bo token to endeavour to secure an agricultural school for Wairarapa was favour, ably discussed by members, and it was decided, oh the motion of the president, "That this association views with interest and pleasure the movement which is bein" made in the direction of establishing an" agricultural school in the district, and promises its hearty support to such a useful and necessary project. As the result of a special canvas made at tho instigation of the new president, ninctyfnnr new members were elected, bringing tho 'total membership up to 1033. No few : er than ISO new members have been enrolled in six weeks, and it is anticipate<l that fully one hundred more will bo secured as permanent members- _ A committee was appointed to meet periodically.
