It was disclosed during the debate on the Address-in-lloply in the Federal llouso to-day that'a secret commission, appointed by Mr. Tudor, Minister for Trado and Customs, had been ior some timo securing ovidenco in connection with tho iron industry, with a view to carrying out the Government's intention to start a Federal ironworks, probably in South Australia.
