Tho Municipal Orchestra is coming fa the end of its first .year—to-ni|?ht J s concert being the eleventh of tho series. The. conductor last evening, in a few well, chosen words, compliment oil the performers iif/on their work at (.he last eoncorfc, and trusted that even higher results would 1)0 reached in (ho near future. Tho full prolamine to be given to-night was thoroughly rehearsed, and good work was done. Tho concert should appeal to nil music-lovers, as every item is attractive both from a musical and popular standard. TschaiUowsky's "Caprico Italion" will bo given again—by special request— and amongst others Laclmer's March, Haydn's "Surprise Symphony," and Knbinslcin's "Toreador and Andalouso" will bo performed. Thomas's dainty gavotte "Mignon" is also _ on tho programme, ag well aa two ospccinlly good organ soli.
