Herbert Reeve, vicar of tho Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Auckland, has accented the position of vicar of Christ Church, Wangaiiui, in succession to Archdeacon Jacob, who has been appointed vicar of Timaru.—Press Association. Mr. Anthony B. Watty, an old sprtlor of Wellington, died at. his residence, Hopper Street, on Sunday, aged 81. The deceased was for some years in the employ of the Union S.S. Company. Sir. 11. Opie, who represented New Zealand at the Festival ol Umpire Sporls at London recently, and Captain AV. S. Gooch have agreed to carry on the "Contemporary Review," in succession to tho Into Sir Percy Bunting, pending ftirther arrangements.
