A talk was given, on "Obedience, Discipiihß, and Loyalty" by Captain Frandi of the Y.M.C'.A. Company, the occasion being the. introduction of Captain l'randi and Lieutenants Nimmo and Nees, to boys in tho newly-formed corps. In the event of war with any nation no men could be made to fight outside of the Dominion, but would simply bo required to stand by and defend our own shores. Lieutenants Nimmo and Noes also spoke. The company will commence ifa drill this week. About 80 were present. On Saturday the C.C.X.T. Club enter-; tnined several of the Senior Hoard of Management. The captain of the club (11 r. Richardson) in welcoming tho board stated that, since last November, about 80 memberships had expired. Home thirty of these could not renew either through, being too old, or through leaving tho district. Twenty-eight renewals and eighty-five- new memberships ahd been registered.
