ARBITRATION TREATIES.
STATEMENT BY PRESIDENT TAFT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright New York, September 1. W'hile reiterating his faith that the principle of arbitration was .becoming general, slowly but surely, President 'Xaft, addressing the American Bar Association, contended that the objections taken by Congress to tho Anglo-American agreement wore invalid. Tho President added that he hoped to submit to Congress other treaties.
