THE LODGES.

« The weekly session of the Eclipse Ledge of Good Templars was held on Friday evening. Thero was a good attendance, aiid Bro. 51. Morris, C.T., presided. During the evening, the 13.D., Bro. Geo. Price, was officially welcomed, and occupied the cliair. The programme sot down was a debate, entitled "Is Military Training in the Best Interests of the People?" Bro. Donn took up the affirmative, and Bro. Gocdgcr the negative. A nmnl-:-r of members joined in a useful and interesting discussion, and the meeting ultimately decided i:i favour of the question. Next meeting isfotdewn as a "Book and Song Party." A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to all who had contributed to (lie anniversary collection far the lodge's funds.
