SALE YARDS OPENED.
Tho opening of tho new liorso saleyards at Taihape' (erected by Hr. A. T. Vickors) took place yesterday. A very -largo company .was present, and the responds from those" presont to tho few remarks which the auctioneer made elicited saomed to show that tho new venture was appreciated. The yards aro situate in tho centre, of tho township. They havo entrances from Tui Street and Ivuku Streot, and are within threp minutes of the station. Tho entries comprised 4fl horses, ten pigs, and fl largo number of vehicles, harness, etc.. most of which were disposed of at satisfactory prices. Sales will be held at the, yards every month, and ■ early, entries'should bo forwarded. . ,
