Sir,—l am very glad to notice that Sir Joseph Ward has expressed the liopo that tho elections will lie fought out on politics and not personalities. The public will be" glad to know that Ministers have no desiro to wash their dirty linen in public. It is evident that the majority, who don't .believe in washing linen anyhow, has prevailed.—l am, etc., LAUNDRYJIAN.
