WESTCOASTERS' FOREGATHER
West CoAst sojourners in 'Wellington attended the annual meeting of tlio West' Coast Association last evening in large numbers. Mr. J. J. M'Grath occupied the chair. Tho annual report recorded that a sum of .£lO, in members subscriptions, had been collected during the year. Altogether .£l7 2s. lid. had been received and .I'll Ills, disbursed. The membership had increased to seventy. Tho report and bal-. unee-sheet were adopted. The Prime Minister (Sir Joseph Ward), the Jlon. ]!. M'Kcnzie, and 'Sir James Carroll, wrote to tho association accepting invitations to attend the annual social in the Sydney Street Schoolroom on September 11. The election of officers Tcsultcd as fol-lows:—-President, the Hon. P. M'Kenzio; chairman, ill'. P. M'Pnrlnnd. Tho vicepresidents of last year were re-elected with the addition of .Mr. L Ihvan; treasurer, Mr. K. Quinn; secretary, Mr. C. J. Pfaff; management committee, Messrs. R. Ouiim, W. Vincent, i'. M'Parland, I). jJunn, Wells, and M'Mamius.
