LADIES' TOURNAMENT. (By TclcEraph.—Press Association.) Napier, September 1. The tournament of (the Napier Ladies' Golf Club was continued yesterday. Tho second round of the championship re-, suited as follows:— 1 Miss Hindinarsh boat Hiss Tweed, 5 up and -1 to play. Miss l'carco beat Mrs, Tonioana, 8 up and 7 to play. Miss Sybil Abraham beat Miss Cave, 3 up and 2 to play. Mrs: Guy Williams bea-t Miss Meg ftindmarsh, G up and 5 to play. In this round Mrs. Guy Williams put up a new ladies' record for the links, doing an SI, which was two strokes better than Miss Pearce's round. In the approaching nmt putting competition, Miss A. Pcarce and Miss Sybil Abraham tied with (ho (rood scorcs of !i for the two distances. They will play off to-day. Tho driving competition brought out a field of 25, and was won by Miss CrGsse, who drove 157 yards 2 inches. In the afternoon the romi-finals of tho championship wero played, tho results being:— Miss Pcarce beat Miss Ilindmarsh, 1 up and 3 to play. Mrs. Williams beat Miss Abraham, i up and 3 :to play. The ladies J'our-bnll match had an entry of twenty. The results are-.— ilrs. Cato (1) and Miss Ball'our (13), 3 up. Miss Tweed (10) and Miss Abraham (17), 2 up. Mrs. Smith (11) and Mrs. Bernard (14), 2 up. llrs. Clark (17) and Miss MacFarlano (17). all square. Mrs. .Uussell (10) and Miss Booth (IS), all square. Miss Cave (10) and Miss M'Beth (18), 1 down.
