LODGE MEETING.

The Island Bay Lodga, U.A.0.D., held its quarterly meeting last Thursday. A good number of members were preseut and also several visitors from Coronation Lodge. Bros. Newton (treasurer) and Payno (auditor), who are leaving the district, resigned tlieir respective ollices. Tho resignations were accepted with regret, and jt was resolved that an appreciation of their services to the lodge should bo recorded in tho minutes. The Danco Committeo reported that tho birthday social had turned out a great success, both socially aiul'financiajly. The function was held in tho Masonic Hall, Berhampore, ajid about 50 couples wero present. Between tho dances songs were sung by Mrs. Barton, Mr. Hayes, and Bros. C. K. Crawford and C. .T. Hiekson. The music was in tho capable hands of Bro. A. J. Wickes. of Coronation Lodge, and extras were played by Airs. Cole, Mrs. Plimmer, and Bros. O. Ben and Hiekson. Bro. A. C. 11. Beu, A.11., made a capable M.C. Next lodge night n card tournament will bo hold with the Melroso and Coronation Lodges.
