A CONTRADICTION.
Sir, —Your correspondent signing himself "A Constant Header," under a letter headed "A City Complaint, tries to convey a grossly untrue and biased impression regarding an existing nuisanec at Aro Street terminus. In fairness to the occupier of tlio premises complained of, you should inquire of tlio authorities, viz.—the City Inspector, Health Department, and Sanitary Inspectors—as to the real facts of the case. Periodically, quite unawares, tlio above-named authorities have inspected the premises, and found everything to their entire satisfaction, and I ought to know whether a nuisance exists, for I live next dcor, and I'm not ashamed to sign my name.—l am, etc., JOSEPH HANCOCK.
