SOME MASTERTON FIGURES. Speaking at the annual meeting of the Maslertou' Dairy Company, the chairman, Ifr. J. C. Ewington,' said that without u. doubt the- dairy industry was going to bo nn important one in the Mastorfon -district in the near future. The farmer was giving more attention to dairying now thai) he did a'few years ago, and the result had been an increase in the number of suppliers to. the factory and a. coiif-'e-miont increase-in tho quantity of milk delivered. ■ . . Ewington:— 'MASTERTON FACTORY. 1009 supply of milk 29,523 gallons 1910 supply of milk- 41,450 gallons 1911 supply of milk 107,738 gallons RANGITUAIAU. 1909 supply of milk' 30,969 gallons 1910 supply of milk 45,509 gallons 1911 supply of milk ......;.. 55,316 gallons It will t>6 seen that the supply of milk to tho Masterton factory during the past year has been an increase of about 140 per cent, as compared with tho previous season, tho.increase'at Ban ittimaii for the Earns peried being about 25 per cent.
