Tho new theatre, which will bo of tho twotier order, will bo of somewhat modern design. Fuller anil Sons are of opinion that, in tho future, there will bo room for two first-class attractions nt one tiino in this city, and the reported success of the King-'s Theatre, in Upper Pitt .Street, gives them grounds for tho belief that a vaudeville company would bo well situHied iir Karangalinpe Road. In earnest of their intention, they are already booking the Opera Houso to travelling companics from next ■Inly onward?.

In view of. their decision, it is interesting to note tliat four other new theatres (each of which is (o be devoted to moving picture shows) will be shortly opened in Auckland. These comprise tho LyricTheatre (now approaching completion in Upper Symonds Street), tho Permanent Picture Theatre (beiiijr provided for Messrs. MacMahon and Ledder in Queen Street), the Coronation Picture Theatre in Dominion Road, and tho New Picture Theatre, to be opened opposite. His Mar jesty's, in Durham Street.
