An explosion occurred during a moving picture entertainment at the Morgan Grant Opera llouso at Cannonsburg, a small town in Pennsylvania, and an alarm of fire started a panic. , Women and children became jammed on the stairway, and many wero knocked denvn and tramplcfl to death or smothered. The death-roll totals twenty-fivo'. Many others wero injured. Numbers of gallant rescues were effected.
