MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.
The Missions to Seamen Institute was crowded to the doors last oveniii.?, whm the workers of the Mission provided a most successful concert. Mr. I'. S. Shell, the Missionw. -occupied Iho chair. Ihe following contributed items to the prowrnmme':—Mrs. Willi*, Mifs Leiz. Mcs-r*. Co!pus, Evans (R.M.S. Ruahine), Paul, >.moEoii HOLS. Rnahinc), Ciilvorwcll, Doinb, Lumber!, and Parker (R.M.S. Rn.v hine). Mr. Gardner acted as accompanist. Several glees were, snug by the Gleo Party, and worn heartily ciK.oml. An amusing conundrum competition was won by sailors from ships in port. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the performers, and light refreshments were dispensed.
