Konga Mohi, and was sentenced to two vears' hard labour, and declared a habitual criminal. John Eobert M'Grcgor and Alexander Stanley Dickson.. were found guilty of assault and robbery and remanded for sentence.
Dunedin, August 22. At the Supreme Court to-dav William John Townley, cattle dealer 'of , Otago leninsula claimed .£5Ol damages from James Joseph Nyhon, also of the Peninsula ■on a charge of slander. The words complained of were:—"You havo been slealing cattle for the last 50 years." lowiiley "'as awarded .£2s,.with costs on the lowest scale. Decrees nisi in divorce were granted in the following divorco cases:—Marion Morland v. John Morland desertion; John Reynolds v. Alice Reynolds, desertion.
