MUNICIPAL ORCHESTRA.
The Municipal Orchestra resumed its practices last evening, everv member being present. Good work was dono in view of the concert to bo given next Tuesday. As usual very attractive music has been chosen and everv item thoroughly rehearsed. A special feature of the forthcoming concert will be that the second part will be entirely from the works of one composer-Tschaikowskv. «iz?J om uK th !: Co ™P° s «- of the famous 1812 which has been so very favourably received lately-has written compositions of the highest musical order combined with attractiveness which has always proved acceptable to Wellington audiences, the works to be rendered next luesday by the orchestra will bo the Dornroschen Valso—repeated bv re-quest-ami the famous "Canricco Italien a work not often beard here In addition Mr. Maughan BarneH wil Rive ano her work of Tschaikou-sky's on the grand organ.
