The report of the Chief' Justice on tho Cool; Islands Administration is set down for discussion on Thursday, and it promises (o he a particularly interesting one, If members speak as frankly in the House as some of them dd outside, Sir James Carro.ll may find that the secret inquiry and tho report resulting from it will cause him at. least as much trouble as the original' complaints. The order-paper for to-day has not yet. been arranged, but some of the Government Bills will doubtless be gome on with. The Native A flairs Committee begins this morning tho 1-aking nf evidence on the Mokou land dealings. Mr. .Toshua .Tones will probably be the first witness. The Council is to sit. this afternoon, but. there is very littlo business
