BOXING.
Tho contest between Hannan and Kelly at' tho Town Hall to-morrow evening promises to provide something above the ordinary seen in boxing contests here for Bome time. Hannan, whose record extends oyer, a much shorter period than that of Kelly, has only recently conio into prominence as a man to be considered in the light-weight class in Australia. Sinco his arrival here ho has been showing excellent form. On Friday evening he was seen in training bouts with Ellis and M'Carthy, and his cleverness and general stylo impressed those who witnessed the display. 110 belongs to the class of boxers known as "fighters," and patrons may expect him to make a great contest with his opponent. Tho lx>x plan is open at Armit's, where members can also procure tickets.
