ONSLOW BOROUGH COUNCIL.

Tho Onslow Borough Council met last night. ' There were present:— Tho Mayor (Mr. I\ Iloldswortli), Councillors B. Lynueburg, J. C. Gardiner, A. IT. Bowdon, F. Bates, E. S. Stafford. C. M'Arthur, 1!. The Public Works Committee recommended that the Cashmere Estate should be granted one year's extension of rimo far tho formation of Lower Road; that the Postal Department aud Mr. J. P. Luke, M.P., should bo written (0 about the delay in thf erection of the JCaiwarra Post Oflice; aud that tho matter of (ho IChandnllah Public H-ll should be referred to a committee consisting of tho Mayor and the councillors representing (lie ward. Tho recommendations wero adopted. It was resolved to a e k llie Rnilwsy Department to improve the bridge at tho Kaiwarra railway crossing so as to mako it more <v>uvonk-n! for (he public.
