TE HIWT CLUB. In the absence of Mr. Chas. Hill, senr., Mr. E. J. Hill, vice-president, occupied the' chat* at. the a.unual meeting of the T Hiwi Club, held in the Grand Hotel last evening.' The finances were reported to be ia a satisfactory condition, and tho clnb in a prosperous condition generally. The following officers were elected:—President (permanent), Mr. Chns. Hill. senr.; vice-president. Mr. E. .7. Hill; committee, Messrs. AV. Wisgins, C. Parntn, K. Gilmer, and V. Allen; selection committee. Messrs. Wiggins, Parata, and Gilmer; secretary an dtrea.surer. Mr. L. Cohen; delegates.to the Northern Bowling Association, Mr. L. Cohen; delegates to tho Wellington Centre, Messrs. E. J. Hill and L. Cohen.

The proposal of the. Centre to play "A" and "B" pennant matches instead of senior and junior matches, met with tho approval of tho meeting.
