Dunedin, August IG. In connection with' the changes in the Union Steamship Company, referred to in a cablegram from Sydney, it is offi-/ dally announced that Mr. F. W. Jackson; who has been manager for the company at Sydney for many years, has been granted • a year's /leave- of absence, and Mr. .Mills, manager, _at Melbourne, will take .his place. -The following transfers will 'he ; ■ tttado:—Air., Yal. Johnson, manager in Tasmania, to be actingmanager at Melbourne; Mr. E. A. Eva, manager at Strahan, to be acting-manager at Hobart; Mr. IT. Crask, chief clerk at Launceston, to bo acting-manager at Strahan. '
