SUDDEN DEATH. IBs • Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auckland, August 16. Joseph Viscobiteh. a seaman on the Harawa, aged about 00, died suddonly while working a winch on the steamer this morning. .Heart failure was tliß cause of death. BODY FOUND. Wanganui, August 16. The body of the young man, Walter Hartcher, mining sine* July 19, was found on the river beach yesterday afternoon. An inquest will be held this afternoon. Deceased,'with his sister, kept a stationery shop and registry office, and prior to' his disappearance he had complained of headaches. HOSPITAL REPORTS. An old man named — Dillon, aged GO vear:\ was admitted to the Hospital last evening, suffering from a severe scalp wound, and slight concussion of the brain. The injuries, it is stated, are not considered serious. At a lata hour last night no particulars were available as tr> how Dillon met with his injuries. Ho lives at Kilbirnic. Th° Hospital authorities .report, that Mr. Harry Sadler, the well-known comedian, is progressing as well as can be expected, after his recent gunshot mishap, and it. will not bo long before he is able to leave Iho institution.
