The Young Australia League, which will arrive from Sydney on August 23, will give two performances in the Town Hall on August 23 and 2-1, under the direction of West's Pictures, Ltd. The object of tho undertaking is to give the members of the league an opportunity of gaining , that form of education which can only be got by travel, and the proceeds of the performances given during the tour aro to bo devoted to assisting the- financial sidq of the undertaking. The league boys have their own brass band of 42 performers, and their ages range from 11 to 19. They also include- comedians, elocutionists, soprano vocalists, orchestral performers, and others who sing and dance and make merry. In addition to the league's programme, West's Pictures, Ltd., will screen the latest biographical novolties. Popular prices will be charged, and seats may ba reserved at tho Dresden. Cough! Cough!
