Mr. Masscy, interviewed after his return from his week-end tour of the Masterton, Eketahuna, and Pahiatua districts, stated that he was delighted with his trip. Ho was received most enthusiastically in all threo places. The meetings he addressed wore crowded. At Mosterton the meeting was generally admitted to be one of the best ever held in the district. "It was certainly," said Mr. Massey, "one of the most enthusiastic I ever had the opportunity of addressing, and 1 could not help being struck with the wonderful change that lias' taken ptoco in political feeling since I last spoke in Masterton some fivo years ago. The electors then were somewhat cold in regard to the Opposition, but at the meeting the other evening the warmth of feeling from start to finish was undoubted."
