ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FOUND IN THE HARBOUR. /By TeleErapb.—Press Association.! Auckland, August 14. ■The dead body of James Robertson, aped 38, a baker, who has been missing since August 5, has been found in the harbour. DROWNED. Auckland, August 14. A man named Ralph Leiumrd Wakefield, between 30 ana 40 years of age, slipped from the bow of his motor launch at Huia, Manukau Harbour, this afternoon. The engine was running, and Wakefield/ was unable to grab hold of tho launch, there being no one else in the craft to throw him a lino or stop the engine. The accident was noticed from the shore, but before assistance arrived the body had sunk and so far has not been recovered. DEAD IN HIS HUT. x ; Dunedin, August 14. Hugh M'Kinlay, a rabbiter, aged 05, was found dead in his hut on Mount Pisa Station. "FOUND SUFFERING GREAT PAIN." Gisborne, August 14. William Milne, an engine-driver, died suddenly at Kanaekanaia. He was found in a paddock suffering pain. An inquest was dispensed with, the Coroner being satisfied that death was duo to natural causes. INFANT OVER-LAIN.-The police have beesi informed that a nine-days-old baby of Ellon Elizabeth Brown was over-lain in bed yesterday morning.
