KAIKOUEA COMING VIA SUEZ. Sailing from London 1 for Port Chalmers on August 9, the New Zealand Shipping Gampany's steamer Kaikoura is coming out by way of the Sues Canal. The vessel calls at Poit Said, Colombo, Townsvlllc, and Rockhamptoii en route. She has immigrants for the two last-mentioned ports. Upon completion of discharge at Port Chalmers, the Kaikoura proceeds to the MlulT and Lyttelton. VICTOIiIA AND WIRELESS. While the Victoria was at Sydney this trip a start was made with the installation of her wireless apparatus. Owing to the vessel's short stay at the New South Wall's port the work will bo dons in stages, and should be ready for operation about the end of September. The operator's house was fitted on the Victoria's bridge-deck at Sydney last week, and when she arrives there from Auckland on September 1 the work of installation will be advanced another stage. It is expected that a slart will also lie made with the installation of the Wimmcra's apparatus at Sydney this trip.

On September 2 the Tyser liner Nerohana, i» fixed to leave Liverpool for Auckland direct. She subsequently visits Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedjn.
