THE HON. I?. M'KENZIE KESENT9 THE NAME. During the debate on tho Civil Service lioform Bill, the Hon. T. Jtackcnzio twitted Jlr. Hordnian with having at one time called the Cabinet Jliuistors despotic and at another time described them as jellyfish. Jlr. Hcrdman explained later that Jlinisters were despotic in dealing with tho. Civil Servants under them, but when they dealt with tho public, they wero jelly-fish of the most pronounced type; Tho Hon. l\. Jl'Keiizio: Do you apply that to me? (Much laughter.) No jellyfish when I'm about! (Jlore laughter.) Jlr. Herdnian: No, I class tho Minister for Public Works rather as a flounder, (Jlore laughter.)
