ENGLISH TEAM FOE AUSTRALIA. By TclceraDh—Press Association—ConvrlehJ London, August 10. The Marylcbono Club has invited Woolley (Kent), P. Mead (Hampshire), and George Gunn (Nottingham) to join the team for Australia. It is rumoured that J. W. Hearne (Middlesex) trill also bo asked. THE HARBOUR BOARD CLUB. The Wellington Harbour Board's Cricket Club held its annual smoke concert in St. Peter's Hall, Gruznce Street, last evening. Mr. G. V. H. Munro presided over an attendance of about 200. During the evening toasts were honoured, and tho following contributed musical items:—Messrs. Geo. Hood, Munro, Mason, Dempster, Sullivan, Driver, Alierne, Boys, Anderson, Banks, O'Kenc, Travers, Lambert, Nolan, Nicholls, Bennett, M'Beth, Carsivell, Probyn, R. Bailey, Wollorman, juu., Wrigley, Myers, Tuff, and Pickering.
