Y.M.C.A. BOYS' DEPARTMENT.
The monthly report of the Y.M.C.A. Boys' Department states that some of the football teams have now finished the reason, which has' been of varied success. Two members, E. Bosher and C. Temperton, are included in the team to represent Wellington against Auckland, tho latter having the honour of being captain of the Wellington lads. A shooting contest' is being arranged between tho Auckland Y.}[.<.'.A. Hoy's' Department and the Wellington boys. On August 23 the members of I lie Young Australian League, who are touring the world, are In be'enterlained. The membership is gradually inereising. and better times are expected. On Friday evenings the meetings havo hrou well attended, the average at the In it lour mootinns being over sixty. On Friday this week Dr. Newman is to ad-ilre-s the lad'. Four Bible classes are held each week. It is the purpose of the boys !.n entertain, if arrangements can be. made, the Auckland team, which is to visit Wellington at the end of this month,
