At the local Coronation celebrations, at is asserted tihat a territorial officer hero asked his men to accompany lum to his own church in a body, and not to tako part in the services which were being hold by other denominations. In consequenco of representations regarding tho matter, the Wanganui Ministers' Association lias been advised by the Defence Department that orders are to be issued that, iu future, men. are not to be .required to attend religious services other than thoso of their oitn denomination.
