MURDER AND CANNIBALISM.
ISLAND TRAGEDIES. Bj Telecrapli—Press Association—Cocyrisrlit Sydney, August i. Advices from New Caledonia state that a family of three—father, mother, and child—named Do yaux, was murdered at Voh. The bodies were terribly mutilated. Thero is no cluo to the perpetrators. Another tragedy is reported from the island of Maewo. Two Frenchmen, named Girolino and Balea, were murdered by recruits of tho vessel, and their bodies eaten. The crew of tho vessel were afterwards killed. Kidnapping is given, as the causo of the outrage. Details of both crimes are meagre,
